The Gate Keepers finish exploring the moon elf ship, finding some mysterious cards along the way; cards meant for reading fortunes, or foretelling the future. Onibath reads the cards and shares what she reads. Afterwards the crew decides they must destroy the tree, and they set about to do just that. The tree however will not go down without a fight.

Astryn talks to the tree locked away aboard the Ban'Duar. It reveals it wants peace, but what does the tree mean by peace? A ghost speaks with Harold; who helps the ghost remember something. The ghost is worried about what the tree will do. With the pieces of the puzzle falling into place, the Gate Keepers must decide what they will do with the tree and the ship.

The Gate Keepers intercept a distress signal from a ship requesting aid. The ship appears to be on the way to their destination and decide to help whoever is on board this ship. They arrive to find that there seems to be no life aboard the vessel, and after landing in the ships docking bay and ascending to the upper levels, discover something terrible happened. Astryn and Zarkhan explore the lower deck while Harold and Vega find the bridge. The plot thickens when they recover the original distress signal, and they face off against some zombies.

After the battle with the Lunar Dragon and the Lunar Devil, the Gate Keepers find themselves dealing with a peculiar situation; Harold's 'alter ego'? Perhaps his literal inner demon? Still unsure of what this creature is they, with the help of their new friend Onibath, are able to subdue Bae'el and bring Harold back. The Gate Keepers return to the monastery to retrieve the information promised them. The information points them to the Dwarven home world of Drazo'Ber'Tala.

The Gate Keepers meet a mischievous character who is pretending to haunt the old training grounds of Vega's monastic order. It turns out this imp is Onibath, someone mentioned in the book Vega took from Saia's office. She has been stuck on Esko 5, bound to something. The party attempts to help her as best they can, but Onibath starts some trouble. Combat ensues. Astryn goes down in the fight, a devil enters the fray, and something happens to Harold.

The Gate keeper Chronicles Pt 15 The Dark Side of the Moon Part 1

The Gate Keepers travel to Esko 5, the moon monastery where Vega trained to become a monk, to learn more about Gate Keepers from the library of the Stormulfar. Upon entering the moons shallow atmosphere the Bastard Star is attacked by three starfish-like creatures, and the party must fend them off. Astryn is teleported to another dimension to speak with a messenger sent by Astraltpia before being returned to the moon; now with a task from the goddess. The party meets the grandmasters of Vega's order, and is given a task before they are allowed access to the library; find what is haunting the dark side of the moon and stop it.

The Gate Keeper Chronicles Pt 14 A 'Salt' in the Desert

The Gate Keepers travel from Ralza'Kahn's palace to the small village of Hadavs where Astryn once crashed landed her ship. The party is shown much hospitality from the inhabitants of the village and asked to look into what has been causing some disturbances in the area. The party travels to the site of the crash to recover data from Astryn's ship, and anything else she had that was valuable that had survived scavengers. Upon exiting the ship, the Gate Keepers were met by a ghastly devil made of sand and salt and were forced to battle it out.
