After breakfast Marion offers Astryn a chance to become something greater, something different; with him as her patron. Meanwhile, Harold receives a vile of blood from Onibath; the key ingredient for the antidote for the disease the female dwarves had succumbed to. While it was mixing, he received a called from Serenity updating him about Eythor. Harold also made a promise to Bae'ell. The others returned to The Gold Father mere moments after Harold released Bae'ell and plummeted to the planet.

Shattered Dawn Episode 4 For Five Minutes

The party faces down House Tagaran to prevent them from stealing a young boy away from his guardian, Korg the Blacksmith. After an intense struggle, the party convinces the venders in the market that the metal clad warriors of the houses weren't invincible and could be defeated if only they could muster the courage to stand up against them. Unfortunately, an emergency signal was launched, indicating trouble. With this in mind the party fled to the scrapyard where they met Jorran, and old friend of Dreno.

Gate Keeper Chronicles Pt 22 I Really Wanna Stay at Your House

After the battle with Craystar, The Gate Keepers talk down Saint Roxolana from issuing judgement for defending themselves against Absulon. She leaves, and the Gate Keepers explore the abandoned city of the Dwarves. In a temple in the keep, they find what they were searching for, a shard of the Black Rainbow. Onibath eats the shard and then teleports them to Olheimenthgr, a realm with a harsh climate. Upon exiting the Black Rainbow, they find themselves near a mansion seemingly carved from bone. They enter the abode with a tour from Onibath that ends in a meeting with one Marion Bloodstar, one of the original Gate Keepers. He gave them information on how they needed to proceed in their fight with Craystar, and how they could, once and for all, defeat him.

Deep in The Taint, the Gate Keepers are battling it out with a child of Craystar when Saint Roxolana and Craystar himself shows up and enters the fray. The party quickly realizes they are outmatched by the power of Craystar, but if not for Roxolana, they might have been annihilated. Craystar, realizing he wasn't going to abscond with his son, he retreated to lick his wounds, and plot his return.

Shattered Dawn Episode 3 Three Men Portaging Aggressively

The protagonists of this story arrive at the market, only to discover that Madame Q is nowhere to be found. With no money in their pockets, they decided that skullduggery was their only course of action in order to procure the coin necessary to buy the needed equipment for venturing forth into the frozen wastes. After buying several items they deemed appropriate, the market was silenced by the arrival of some Nere-do-well house guards seeking to take against his will a boy from the market to work in the forge.

After the Gate Keepers handily defeated the bugs deep in the mines of Drazo'Ber'Tala they continued further into the mines, closer to the ancient Dwarven City. Upon reaching the clearing at the gates of the city, they were met by one of the horrors of the mines, a child of Craystar. Astryn attempted to talk with the creature but was unable to until some intervention of a divine nature interceded.

Shattered Dawn Episode 2

Unfortunately the first episode's audio didn't save, but we have continued on with the story and will do our best to retell the events of the first episode in as many ways as we can. The party, having met in Prison Camp 3, was sentenced to wear a mark and go collect shards of the sun in order to pay off their debt to society. However, survival in the frozen wastes beyond the walls and warmth of the city is near impossible. Madame Qi communed with nature spirits to find a shard and she was granted a vision of a large shard; large enough to pay all of their debts. The four set off to find a way to acquire gear. Their search led them to a gambling establishment run by a deranged man called Mr. Smiles. The boys tried their own methods of finding one of Dreno's old contacts and collect money, while Madame Qi had more effective methods. The gambling establishment was infiltrated by fairies, forcing the quartet to high tail it out of there.

The Gate Keepers finish their journey to the Dwarven home world of Drazo'Ber'Tala. Harold offers his services to the leader of the Dwarves, Hector Urvak; a gentleman he met once in the company of Eythor Falcox. Harold wanted to attempt to find a cure for the disease that had affected only the womenfolk of the Dwarves. Meanwhile, Astryn, Vega, and Zarkhan ventured into the mines in search of a fragment of the Black Rainbow. A swarm of insectoid monsters attacked them in the mines.
